100+ Who Care of Clackamas County
How It Works
Our Mission
We use the power of collective giving to make a difference in Clackamas County, Oregon. When you donate $100 to a charity, you might wonder how far your money really goes. But if we bring 100+ people together to donate $100 each, we can raise $10,000+ to create a truly tangible impact. And we do it all in just a few hours, two times a year.
How Does It Work?
Our members come together twice per year, each with a $100 to donate to a local nonprofit. We hear from 3 organizations, each nominated by one of our members, and at the end of each meeting we collectively vote on a cause to receive our collective donation. Our members commit to donating $100 semiannually (even if you can't make the meeting), knowing that their money is going directly to vetted, local organizations in Clackamas County.
What's My Commitment?
100+ Who Care of Clackamas County is a great opportunity if you don’t have a ton of extra time in your busy life to volunteer, or a lot of money to give out, but you still want to give back!
As a member, you commit to:
-
2 meetings per year at the predetermined meeting location (See Events Calendar for our next meeting)
-
$200 per year ($100 each meeting)
